This coffee is from what would have been the 2020 Daterra Farms Masterpieces auction. The auction format was forgoed in 2020 due to the pandemic so the value on these coffees is unbelievable.

The prices these coffees would get at auction would likely be several multiples of what they are available for this year. For example, the Laurina Double Fermented is the same coffee that gave us Frevo last year and Ruda the year before.  Frevo set the record for most expensive coffee ever from Brazil at the time.

Gesha is one of the most sought after varietals of coffee because of its unique flavour profile and incredible sweetness. This particular offering is a treed dried natural and is amazing in all brew methods.

Process: The Gesha cherries were left on the trees for a longer time, allowing them to go through the full maturation process and dry while still attached to the branch. This processing technique is only possible if the weather is very dry and stable during harvest. It brings very positive attributes to the cup: tree-dried naturals usually show heavy body and extra-intense sweetness.
